Pick: Kubica Result: Not registered Stake: 5/10 Odds: 2.00 Bookmaker: LadbrokesvCash: No Posted: Apr 27, 2008, 04:42
For me this bet is almost a H2H between Kubica and Alonso.
Heidfeld starts 9th on the grid and he is behind Webber and Trulli who will be faster than him, but as it's hard to overtake he will lose time on Kubica.
So I give about 10% to others to win.
I give easily 66/34 to Kubica against Alonso.
So about 60% for Kubica to win without Raikkonen Hamilton Massa and Kovalainen.
Two different classes between these two guys... I don't see how Gimbert could be an opponent to Sofuoglu there, is there's no crash from the Turkish guy, about 80% chances...

Pick: Top 3 Result: Not registered Stake: 4/10 Odds: 2.50 Bookmaker: Bet365vCash: No Posted: Apr 27, 2008, 04:08
For me there are 4 great favourites : Bayliss, Checa, Haga and Xaus.
Bayliss last year had tyres problem in the first race and the Yama has often this kind of problems.
It's a bit hard to say woh will be the strongest between these four guys even if I have a small idea, but anyway 2.60 is much too high !! At least 50% chances.

Kovalainen over Heidfeld @1.81 Goldbet 6/10, 1.60 on others 3/10
On this track as I already told, this is very hard to overtake. Heidfeld may have a lot of fuel, he'll be behind Webber and Trulli as the six guys ahead will escape.
Unless Kovalainen crashes, which is scarce because he's a safe driver, I don't see how he could finish behind Heidfeld.

Pick: Piquet to win Result: Out Stake: 6/10 Odds: 4.00 Bookmaker: LadbrokesvCash: Yes Posted: Apr 27, 2008, 00:23
Piquet winner of the group composed of Nakajima, Barrichello, Button, Glock and Coulthard.
Ladbrokes, @4.00 6/10
Great great pick for me, Piquet seems to be faster than all of the others ones. He starts tenth, so ahead of all his opponent and on this track this is very hard to overtake. I'm almost sure Piquet is full of fuel and will stop after the other drivers.
Great value for me, about 40% for Piquet to win the group.

Pick: Glock Result: Not registered Stake: 1/10 Odds: 1.85 Bookmaker: GoldbetvCash: No Posted: Apr 25, 2008, 02:49
Toyota is the best car of the four "medium teams" with Renault Williams and Red Bull. Coulthard is not a good driver for qualifications and often makes mistakes.
This year 8-12-17 and Glock 9-10-13, more regular and above all, Toyota makes more progress, I think, than Red Bull during these 3 week break.
Pick: Latvala Result: Not registered Stake: 4/10 Odds: 1.75 Bookmaker: Bet24vCash: No Posted: Apr 23, 2008, 20:18
Honestly I don’t understand this odd. Latvala/Ford are much stronger than Solberg/Subaru. On gravel, Latvala lead 3-0 against him this year and made a lot of progress comparatively to the last year.
Indeed, it’s true that the Jordan Rally is new and that Petter Solberg, with Dani Sordo, is the only one to know a bit the rally because they drive there last year to judge the roads and to say if the rally can take part to the WRC. But I don’t think this could give them a great advantage, anyway clearly not enough to be better than Latvala, the best ones will be the best drivers. If Petter had taken part to this rally several times, why not, but just once and just “like that”…
